About us

DAREmpordà is a project that originated when we learned of an online tool developed by a group of psychologists from the UOC, which is intended as a treatment opportunity for patients with RAP in our region.

From here began a collaboration between primary care paediatricians, the Empordà Health Foundation, the UOC and a team from the Centre for Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CSMIJ). The result is a protocol for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with RAP, as well as a window for dissemination and awareness of the disorder through this website.

Its aim is to provide a helpful resource, based on scientific evidence, for families with a child with recurrent abdominal pain and for professionals..
